PCC Inscape Magazine has partnered with C.O.R.E. to publish this special edition chapbook on Healing the impacts of incarceration. C.O.R.E. stands for Community Overcoming Recidivism through Education and provides support services to formerly incarcerated and system impacted students enrolling at Pasadena City College. CORE focuses on students’ reentry into their communities in order for them to succeed through the development of job skills, obtaining a certificate, earning an Associates’ degree, and/or transferring to a four-year university.
